This Privacy Policy applies to Feit Electric Company, Inc. and its wholly owned brands operated under the Feit family: Feit Electric (feit.com), Cree Lighting Home (creelightinghome.com), LIFX (lifx.com), Universal Security Instruments (universalsecurity.com), and Good Earth Lighting (goodearthlighting.com). Each site may present this policy in branded form; the substantive rights and obligations are identical across all properties.

1. Introduction and Scope

Feit Electric Company, Inc. ("Feit," "we," "us," or "our") operates websites, online stores, applications, or connected products (collectively, the "Services"), including all related information, content, features, tools, products and services, in order to provide you, the customer, with a curated shopping experience. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, retain, and disclose personal information in connection with those Services, and explains the privacy rights available to you.

This Policy does not cover information collected by third parties through their own platforms, even when those platforms are accessible via links on our websites or integrated with our products (e.g., Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant). We encourage you to please review those parties' privacy policies separately.

2. Information We Collect

When we use the term "personal information," we are referring to information that identifies or can reasonably be linked to you or another person. Personal information does not include information that is collected anonymously or that has been de-identified, so that it cannot identify or be reasonably linked to you. We may collect or process the following categories of personal information, including inferences drawn from this personal information, depending on how you interact with the Services, where you live, and as permitted or required by applicable law:

• Contact details including name, postal address (billing and shipping), email address, and telephone number.
• Account credentials including username, passwords, and security question responses.
• Financial information, such as payment card number, expiration date, CVV, and billing address.
• Transaction details, including items ordered, purchase history, returns, exchanges, cancellations, wish lists, and warranty claims.
• Communications with Feit, including contents of messages, emails, chat logs, and support tickets you send to us.
• Device information including information about your electronic device, browser, or network connection, your IP address, and other unique identifiers.
• Promotional program participation, including contest or sweepstakes entries, ambassador program applications, and newsletter signups.
• Usage data, including pages visited, links clicked, search queries entered on our sites, time and duration of visits, referrer URLs, and shopping cart activity.
• Connected product telemetry, which may include device on/off state, dimming level, color temperature, power consumption, firmware version, connectivity status, motion and occupancy events, and camera-related event triggers (e.g., motion detected). For camera/audio products specifically, see below.
• Location data, which includes approximate location inferred from IP address. For certain smart product features (e.g., sunrise/sunset schedules, location-based automations), we collect more precise geolocation if you grant permission in the settings/mobile application. You can revoke this permission at any time through your device settings.
• Cookies and similar technologies, which includes session and persistent cookies, pixel tags, web beacons, and local storage objects. See Section 6 for details.
• Links from/to third-party smart home platforms (Alexa, Google Home, Apple HomeKit, SmartThings, etc.), or retailers such as Shopify, as well as social platforms using a media account, enable Feit to receive/collect: device-state data required to enable interoperability; e-commerce infrastructure and personal information in its capacity as an independent data controller. See Sections 6 & 7.
• Analytics and advertising partners share aggregated and, in some cases, pseudonymous audience data from analytics providers (e.g., Google Analytics) and advertising platforms (e.g., Meta Pixel) to understand how people use our services and to measure the effectiveness of marketing.

Camera/Audio Products

Use of Feit camera products is subject to the following additional terms:

• You are solely responsible for placing and configuring cameras in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, including laws governing surveillance, recording, and the privacy rights of others; Do not install cameras in locations where persons have a reasonable expectation of privacy (e.g., bathrooms or dressing rooms); If you record audio, you must comply with applicable call recording and wiretapping statutes, which in many states require the consent of all parties being recorded; and You must not use camera features to conduct unlawful surveillance, stalk, harass, or harm any person.
• Feit's connected devices operate on infrastructure provided by Tuya Smart. When you use a Feit smart product, Tuya collects and processes device operational data (device state, event logs, and usage patterns) as part of the cloud service. Tuya also offers optional AI-powered alert features ("AI Alerts") for camera and doorbell products; if you activate these features, your Feit security camera and doorbell products capture audio and video in and around your home. Recordings may be stored locally on an SD card inserted in the device. All data transmissions between your device and the Feit app are encrypted. You may delete locally stored recordings at any time through the Feit app. Optional cloud storage and AI Alert plans are available through the Feit Electric app and are provided directly by Hangzhou Tuya Information Technology Co., Ltd. ("Tuya Smart"). If you purchase one of these plans, your recordings and related data will be transmitted to and stored on Tuya's servers, and your use of those services is subject to Tuya's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. We highly encourage you to review Tuya's privacy practices at tuya.com/rule before subscribing.

3. How We Use Personal Information

Depending on how you interact with us or which of the Services you use, we may use personal information for the purposes described below along with the legal basis we rely on where required by applicable law.

• Providing and Improving Our Products and Services in connection with: fulfilling orders and processing payments; creating, maintaining, and securing customer accounts; enabling smart device features, automations, and app functionality; providing customer support and responding to warranty and recall requests; analyzing product usage to identify improvements; diagnosing technical issues and maintaining service reliability; and developing new features, products, and services.
• Marketing and Communications, including: sending order confirmations, shipping notifications, and account updates (transactional communications); sending promotional emails, SMS messages, and direct mail about new products, offers, and programs, with your consent or as otherwise permitted by law; displaying personalized advertisements on our websites and on third-party platforms based on your activity and preferences; and administering sweepstakes, contests, loyalty programs, and brand ambassador programs.
• Security, Fraud Prevention, and Legal Compliance, such as: authenticating your identity and securing your account; detecting, investigating, and preventing fraudulent transactions and unauthorized access; complying with applicable laws, regulations, and legal processes; responding to law enforcement requests and court orders; and enforcing our Terms of Service and other policies.

4. How We Disclose Personal Information

We do not sell your personal information for monetary consideration. We may share personal information in the following circumstances:

• We engage vendors and contractors who process personal information on our behalf, including: e-commerce and payment processing (Shopify, Stripe); cloud storage and hosting (Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, Tuya Smart for IoT infrastructure); customer support platforms (Zendesk); shipping and fulfillment partners; email and SMS marketing platforms; analytics and advertising technology providers; and warranty and recall administration services. Service providers are contractually required to process personal information only on our documented instructions and to maintain appropriate security measures.
• We may share personal information among Feit Electric Company and its wholly owned brands and subsidiaries for the purposes described in this Policy. Each entity in our corporate family is bound by this Policy.
• If Feit Electric is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of company assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such transfer and any material changes to this Policy that result from it.
• We may disclose personal information when we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to: comply with a subpoena, court order, legal process, or government request; protect the rights, property, or safety of Feit Electric, our customers, or the public; or investigate suspected fraud, abuse, or violations of our Terms of Service.

5. Sensitive Personal Information

"Sensitive personal information" under the California Privacy Rights Act ("CPRA") includes precise geolocation, account login credentials, financial account data, and data about minors. We collect the following sensitive categories in limited circumstances:

The Services provided by Feit are not intended to be used by children, and we do not knowingly collect any personal information about children under the age of majority in your jurisdiction. If you are the parent or guardian of a child who has provided us with their personal information, you may contact us using the contact details set out below to request that it be deleted. As of the Effective Date of this Privacy Policy, we do not have actual knowledge that we "share" or "sell" (as those terms are defined in applicable law) personal information of individuals under 18 years of age.

6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

• Session cookies: Temporary cookies deleted when you close your browser. Used for shopping cart persistence and authenticated sessions.
• Persistent cookies: Remain on your device for a defined period. Used for preference storage, returning-visitor recognition, and analytics.
• Pixel tags and web beacons: Small image files embedded in emails and web pages used to track opens and clicks.
• Third-party analytics (Google Analytics): We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns. Data transmitted to Google is subject to Google's privacy policy.
• Advertising pixels (Meta Pixel, others): Used to measure ad campaign performance and to enable retargeted advertising on third-party platforms.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the rights listed below in relation to your personal information. However, these rights are not absolute, may apply only in certain circumstances and, in certain cases, we may decline your request as permitted by law.

• Right to Access / Know. You may have a right to request access to personal information that we hold about you.
• Right to Delete. You may have a right to request that we delete personal information we maintain about you.
• Right to Correct. You may have a right to request that we correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
• Right of Portability. You may have a right to receive a copy of the personal information we hold about you and to request that we transfer it to a third party, in certain circumstances and with certain exceptions.
• Right to Opt out of Sale or Sharing for Targeted Advertising. Depending on where you reside, you may have a right to opt out of the "sale" or "share" of your personal information or to opt out of the processing of your personal information for purposes considered to be "targeted advertising," as defined in applicable privacy laws. You can exercise your rights to opt out of those uses here. Please note that if you visit our website with the Global Privacy Control opt-out preference signal enabled, depending on where you are, we will automatically treat this as a request to opt out for the device and browser that you use to visit the website. If we are able to associate the device sending the signal to a Shopify account, we will apply the opt out request to the account as well. Other than the Global Privacy Control, we do not recognize other "Do Not Track" signals that may be sent from your web browser or device.
• Managing Communication Preferences. We may send you promotional emails, and you may opt out of receiving these at any time by using the unsubscribe option displayed in our emails to you. If you opt out, we may still send you non-promotional emails, such as those about your account or orders that you have made.

If you reside in the UK or European Economic Area, and subject to exceptions and limitations provided by local law, you may exercise the following rights in addition to the rights outlined above:

• Objection to Processing and Restriction of Processing: You may have the right to ask us to stop or restrict our processing of personal information for certain purposes.
• Withdrawal of Consent: Where we rely on consent to process your personal information, you have the right to withdraw this consent. If you withdraw your consent, this will not affect the lawfulness of any processing based on your consent before its withdrawal.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights. We may need to verify your identity before we can process your requests, as permitted or required under applicable law. In accordance with applicable laws, you may designate an authorized agent to make requests on your behalf to exercise your rights. Before accepting such a request from an agent, we will require that the agent provide proof you have authorized them to act on your behalf, and we may need you to verify your identity directly with us. We will respond to your request in a timely manner as required under applicable law.

8. Security

Although no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee "perfect security," Feit endeavors to implement commercially reasonable technical, administrative, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. In addition, any information you send to us may not be secure while in transit. We recommend that you do not use unsecure channels to communicate sensitive or confidential information to us.

How long we retain your personal information depends on different factors, such as whether we need the information to maintain your account, to provide you with Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes or enforce other applicable contracts and policies.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our data practices, applicable law, or business operations. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this document reflects the most recent revision.

For material changes, we will provide prominent notice on our websites or, where appropriate, notify you directly by email. Your continued use of our services after the effective date of a revised Policy constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
