Facilities / Maintenace Technician - Los Angeles, CA
We are seeking a skilled Facilities Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various systems within our facilities to ensure smooth operations.

What You'll Do:
- Change lights in Buildings Indoor / Outdoor, Warehouse and Offices as needed.
- Replace 120 V / 277 V ballast as needed.
- Minor Electrical problems fixed as needed.
- Minor Mechanical problems fixed as needed.
- Minor Plumbing problems fixed as needed.
- Make and repair displays as needed.
- Minor gardening type work, spray weeds, trim bushes, etc. as needed.
- Grease + oil Pallet Wrap machines, Heat Shrink machines, Strap machines as needed.
- Fix office chairs, desk drawers, etc. as needed.
- Change filters in Air Conditioners and Water Fountains as needed.
- Paint offices, restrooms, poles, etc., as needed.
- Drive Sweeper over warehouses.
- Other repairs to the building as needed.
- Maintain and repair Equipment, Vehicles and Machines as needed.
- Assist with projects in Test lab, QC and Packaging as needed.
- Keep Tool Room and Outside Area clean and organized.
- Assist with Fixture Mounting as needed.
- Perform monthly fire pump inspections/pump runs
- Performs safety checks on forklift machines before the beginning of every shift and prior to use.
- Be able to operate power industrial trucks (Stand-Up Forklift, Stand-Up Reach Trucks, Cherry Pickers, Electric Pallet Rider, and Sit-Down Forklift)
- Conduct monthly fire pump testing, fire exit sign inspection, eye wash station inspection, and other building safety inspections.
- Minor storage racking repairs and replacement.
- Any other tasks assigned by a member of management.
Skills:
- Proficiency in English for effective communication (preferred)
- Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Experience with forklifts, HVAC/R systems, and other facility equipment
Qualifications:
- Industrial mechanic experience
- Mechanical knowledge
- Electrical experience
- Manufacturing facility experience
- Programmable logic controllers' knowledge
- Hydraulics expertise
- Technical sales background
- HVAC/R knowledge
- Precision measuring instruments proficiency

Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift to 50 pounds. Long periods of standing, walking, siting, bending, lifting (including overhead). Must be OK with heights up to 3 or 4 floors, climbing ladders, working on the roof and outdoors. Due to working in a warehouse with moving equipment this person must have good hearing and vision.
What you will get:
- Salary Range $23.00 to $25.00 Hourly / Non-Exempt
Additional Data:
- Position is onsite Monday through Friday in our Pico Rivera, CA office. Position does not offer relocation package. No remote work available for this position.
